Dear Friend,

Have you heard that Willie Nelson song, "Mama Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys?" Well Willie Nelson just might be right.

US Smokeless Tobacco Company (UST) is a national sponsor of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). They've sponsored Rodeo Tours, Rodeo Series and the National Finals Rodeo. This has given them a platform to promote their spit tobacco to over 23 million people.

UST heavily promotes its products at rodeos and these events feature huge signs for spit tobacco products as well as tobacco-sampling booths. This promotion of spit tobacco is influencing our kids. In fact, one out of 10 teenage boys uses smokeless tobacco, an addiction which can lead to cancer, cardiovascular disease and many other diseases.

You have an opportunity to do something about it. The PRCA currently wants rodeo to become a mainstream, family-oriented sport, but they are negotiating a new contract with UST. Just click on the following link to tell them that making deals with tobacco companies is just not family friendly.

It will only take a moment of your time to tell PRCA that ending their association with UST will help safeguard our kids' health. And once you've sent your letter, please forward this email to your friends and family and ask them to help.

Let's make it safe for our babies to grow up to be cowboys!

Thank you for your help,
